This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application 대형폐기물 가격 - 종량제봉투 (English Google Play title: Korea Waste Fees & Bag Prices; package com.brainer.wastecost), published by Brainer. Brainer provides the app as an independent convenience service. It is not operated by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized to represent the Korean government or any local authority.
Information handled by the app
The app does not require an account and does not ask for a name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, or files. Region and search selections are processed on the device and are not included in public-data requests. The app includes a public price snapshot, stores downloaded updates in its private app storage, and supports core searches offline.
Advertising and consent services
The app uses Google Mobile Ads to display advertising and Google's User Messaging Platform to request or manage consent where required. These Google services may process information such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, advertising interactions, consent choices, diagnostics, and approximate location inferred from an IP address. Processing depends on the user's region, consent choices, device settings, and Google's configuration.

Public data
The app displays standard datasets published through Korea's official Public Data Portal. The official source pages are:
To refresh them without a Brainer application server, the app sends HTTPS requests for two fixed, complete datasets directly to the Public Data Portal. These requests do not contain the user's search terms or selected region. Like other internet services, the portal may receive ordinary connection data such as an IP address, request time, and user-agent information under its own practices. The downloaded data describes local fees and administrative contacts and is not combined by Brainer with user identity. Source links and reference dates are also available inside the app.
Purpose and sharing
On-device selections are used only to return matching price records. Brainer does not operate an account database or application-data server and does not sell user-submitted information. Fixed dataset requests are sent to Korea's Public Data Portal. Information processed by Google advertising and consent SDKs may be transmitted to and handled by Google and its service providers for advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, consent management, security, and diagnostics.
Retention and deletion
The app does not maintain a Brainer server account or store search history on a Brainer server. Downloaded public-data caches and other local app data can be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. The Public Data Portal and Google may retain their respective service or SDK-related information under their own policies and applicable consent choices.
Security and children
Reasonable platform safeguards are used, including encrypted network connections and avoiding unnecessary permissions. No method of electronic processing is completely secure. The app is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the app, SDKs, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published.
