Shikaku Rectangle Logic Puzzle Privacy Policy
Shikaku Rectangle Logic Puzzle
Privacy Policy
Brainer (“Developer”) provides Shikaku Rectangle Logic Puzzle (package name: com.brainer.shikaku) and respects your privacy. This policy explains the information processed by the app, why it is processed, the third-party services involved, and your choices.
1. Information collected directly by the Developer
Shikaku does not provide user accounts and does not ask you to enter your name, address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or financial information. The Developer does not directly collect this information on a separate server during gameplay.
Game data stored on your device
Stage progress, completion records, best times, timer state, Daily Puzzle history and streaks, hint usage, notification and game preferences, and review-prompt state are stored locally by the app. This information restores your progress and settings and is not sent to a server operated by the Developer.
Depending on Android and your backup settings, the operating system or a Google backup service may back up local app data. Such backups are controlled by your device and account settings and the service provider’s policies.
Support communications
If you contact us by email, you voluntarily provide your email address, message, and any attachments. We use them only to answer your request, troubleshoot issues, and provide necessary follow-up. We delete them when no longer needed for those purposes unless retention is required by law.
2. Advertising and consent management
The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to provide ads and manage region-specific privacy choices and consent.
According to Google, the Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share the following information for advertising, analytics, security, and fraud prevention:
- IP address;
- product interactions such as app launches, ad impressions, and ad clicks;
- diagnostic information such as crash logs, launch time, and performance data; and
- Android advertising ID, app set ID, and other device or account identifiers where available and permitted.
Advertising data handling may vary based on your region, consent choices, device settings, and Google policies. The Developer does not sell personal information that you directly provide through the app.
For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from apps that use its services, and the Google Mobile Ads data disclosure.
3. Notifications
The app asks for Android notification permission only if you choose to enable the Daily Puzzle reminder. Reminders are scheduled on your device. The Developer does not collect notification content or your interactions with notifications on a separate server. You can disable reminders at any time in the app or device settings.
4. Google Play In-App Review
The app may use the Google Play In-App Review feature. The app is not told whether the review dialog was displayed, whether you submitted a rating, or what rating you gave. Google handles review-related information under its own policies.
5. Sharing and third parties
The Developer does not sell directly collected personal information to third parties for advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process information under their own policies and your consent choices to provide the advertising, consent management, app distribution, in-app review, and operating-system backup services described above.
6. Retention and deletion
- Local game data remains until you clear the app’s data or uninstall the app. Operating-system backups are governed by your Google Account and device backup settings.
- Support communications are retained only as long as needed to handle the request, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Information processed by Google is retained according to Google’s and its advertising partners’ policies.
7. Your choices
- You can reopen this policy from Settings > Privacy in the app.
- Where regional ad privacy choices are required, you can change them under Settings > Privacy > Ad privacy choices.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID and change ad-personalization settings in Android settings.
- You can disable notification permission and Daily Puzzle reminders at any time.
- You can delete local game data by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it.
8. Children’s privacy
The app does not ask users to provide their age, name, or contact details, and the Developer does not knowingly collect direct identifiers from children. If you believe a child provided personal information through a support communication, contact us at the address below so we can investigate and delete it.
9. Security and international processing
The Developer minimizes the information it directly manages. Google states that data transmitted by the Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. Google and advertising partners may process information outside your country, subject to their policies and applicable law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy if the app’s features, third-party SDKs, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date for material changes.
