Privacy Policy for Follow the Light (빛을 따라)

Brainer ("we", "us", or "our") provides Follow the Light (빛을 따라), an educational Bible-story app for Android. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Information stored on your device
The app stores your story progress, quiz results, sound preference, Bible-term preference, and advertising frequency counters locally on your device. We do not receive this information. You can delete it by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Advertising and consent
The app uses Google AdMob to show occasional interstitial advertisements only at selected act transitions. Ads never block ordinary progress if an ad is unavailable. We configure advertising for child-directed treatment, users under the age of consent, non-personalized delivery, and a maximum G content rating. The Android advertising ID permission is removed from the app.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share the following data for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate a device's approximate location;
- app interactions, such as app launches, taps, and ad or video views;
- diagnostic information about app and SDK performance; and
- device or account-related identifiers other than the disabled Android advertising ID.
This data is encrypted in transit. Google handles this information under its own privacy policies and retention practices. Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform presents privacy choices. The app also provides a privacy-options entry when Google makes that option available.
Accounts, permissions, and other data
The app does not require an account. It does not ask for your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or payment information. It does not include in-app purchases. Network access is used for consent and advertising.
Children
The app is designed as family-friendly educational content and may be used by children. Advertising is configured for child-directed, non-personalized treatment, and the app does not request the Android advertising ID. Parents and guardians may clear all locally stored app data through Android settings or by uninstalling the app.
Data retention and deletion
Local progress and preferences remain on the device until the user clears app data or uninstalls the app. Data processed by Google is subject to Google's retention and deletion controls. Because the app has no accounts and we do not receive local progress data, there is no separate developer-held account record to delete.
Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the app, including encrypted network transport provided by Google SDKs. No method of electronic processing is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, SDKs, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated, and the current version will remain available at this public URL.
