Effective date: August 7, 2026 This Privacy Policy applies to Fuel Economy & Cost Calculator (Korean title: 연비 계산기 - 기름값·유류비), Android package `com.brainer.fuelcostcalculator`, provided by Brainer. Information you enter The app lets you enter trip distance, vehicle fuel economy, fuel price, tolls, parking fees, number of people, distance driven, and fuel used. These values are processed on your device to produce calculator results. Brainer does not receive these calculator inputs and does not operate a server that stores them. Android may temporarily preserve the current screen state so that the screen can be restored after a configuration change or process restart. Vehicle reference data The app contains an offline vehicle fuel-economy catalog derived from the Korea Energy Agency vehicle label public dataset dated April 24, 2026. Opening the source link is optional and uses your external browser. The app is independent and is not an official Korea Energy Agency app. Advertising and consent The app uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads Next-Gen SDK to display a bottom banner ad. It also uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and store advertising privacy choices where required. According to Google’s SDK disclosure, the advertising SDK may automatically collect and share the following information for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes: - IP address, which may be used to estimate general location; - app launches, taps, ad views, and other product interactions; - diagnostic and app-performance information; and - device or account identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID or app set ID, when available. Google states that this information is encrypted in transit. Advertising choices and data handling may vary by region, device settings, consent selection, and whether limited ads are served. Where required, the app requests consent before initializing or requesting ads. If a privacy-options entry point is required, the app displays an Ad privacy choices button so you can revisit those choices. The app does not request precise or approximate device location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone, or storage access. Google’s advertising SDK may include the normal Android advertising-ID permission. Accounts, retention, and deletion The app does not provide user accounts. Brainer does not retain calculator inputs on a developer server. You can remove locally held app state by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it. Advertising data is retained and deleted according to Google’s policies and your Google or Android advertising settings. You can reset or delete the Android advertising ID in device settings where that option is available. Children The app is a general vehicle-cost utility intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. The Play target audience is adults aged 18 and over. Security Calculations and the vehicle catalog operate locally. Network traffic used by Google advertising services and HTTPS web links is protected in transit, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Changes This policy may be updated when app features, SDKs, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date at the top will be revised, and the current version will remain available at the public policy URL linked from the app and Google Play listing.
