Privacy Policy — Busan Fish Market Auction Information

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application Busan Fish Market Auction Information (package com.brainer.busanfishmarket). The app is independently operated and is not an official application of the Busan Metropolitan City or the Busan International Fish Market.

Information handled by the app

The app does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment information.

Your favorite species and recent successful market responses are stored only on your device. Cached market responses are kept for up to 14 days. Search terms and filters are processed locally and are not sent to the developer. You can remove local data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

To retrieve public market information, the app sends the selected date and pagination parameters to the applicable Korean public-data endpoint over HTTPS. As with ordinary internet requests, the endpoint operator may process network information such as your IP address. The app does not operate its own account or analytics server.

Advertising and consent

The app uses Google AdMob to display a banner advertisement and Google's User Messaging Platform to manage privacy choices where required. According to Google's Mobile Ads SDK disclosure, the SDK may automatically collect and share IP address information, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. Data transmitted by the SDK is encrypted in transit.

When required, the app shows a consent message before requesting ads and provides a Privacy and ad settings entry point in the app information dialog. You can also manage or delete the Android advertising ID in your device settings. Choosing limited or non-personalized advertising may not stop all processing needed for ad delivery, measurement, security, or fraud prevention.

Data retention and deletion

The app has no user account or developer-operated database containing your personal profile. On-device favorites remain until you remove them or clear the app's data. Cached market responses are limited to 14 days. Third-party services retain data according to their own policies and legal obligations.

Children's privacy

The app is a general market-information utility and is not designed specifically for children. It does not knowingly request personal information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
