Tire Size & Plus Sizing Calculator Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 12, 2026

Brainer ("we," "us," or "our") provides the Tire Size & Plus Sizing Calculator Android application (package `com.brainer.tirecalc`). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Information handled by the app

The app does not require an account and does not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment information.

Tire sizes you enter and up to 12 recent successful comparisons are stored only on your device so that you can reopen them. Brainer does not receive this locally stored calculator data. You can delete it with the in-app "Clear history" action or by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.

Advertising and third-party processing

The app uses the Google Mobile Ads Next-Gen SDK to display a banner advertisement and the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to obtain and manage privacy choices where required.

According to Google's current SDK disclosure, the Google Mobile Ads Next-Gen SDK automatically collects and shares the following information for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes:

  • IP address, which may be used to estimate a device's general location;
  • user product interactions, such as app launches, taps, and ad interactions;
  • diagnostic information, including app or SDK performance information such as launch time, hangs, and energy use; and
  • device or account identifiers, which may include the Android advertising ID, app set ID, and, when applicable, identifiers related to accounts signed in on the device.

Google states that this information is encrypted in transit using TLS. Google's processing is governed by its own terms and privacy policies. Learn more at:

Consent and privacy choices

The app requests an updated consent status from UMP on each launch and requests ads only after UMP indicates that ads may be requested. Where required, UMP presents a consent form. If UMP requires a persistent privacy-options entry point, it is available from the information button in the app under "Privacy choices."

You may also reset or delete the Android advertising ID and manage ad personalization in Android's Google/Ads settings. Choosing limited or non-personalized advertising may reduce personalization but does not necessarily stop all data needed to deliver, measure, secure, or prevent fraud in advertising.

Data sharing

Brainer does not sell the tire-size values or recent comparisons stored locally by the app. Data described above may be transmitted to and processed by Google through the advertising and consent SDKs. We do not integrate a separate analytics service or operate an app backend for this application.

Retention

Locally stored recent comparisons remain on your device until you clear the history, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Information processed by Google is retained according to Google's applicable policies and your Google/advertising settings.

Security

The app uses platform storage for local history and HTTPS/TLS-enabled Google SDK communications. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The app is a vehicle utility intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information through the app.

International processing

Google may process information in countries other than the country where you live, subject to its applicable safeguards and policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, its SDKs, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy with a new effective date.
