This policy explains how the Android chess puzzle app handles information. The app does not require an account and its puzzles can be played offline. The app is intended for people aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13.

1. Information stored on your device

The app stores puzzle progress, the current position, completed stages, mistakes, favorites, learning statistics, display preferences, advertising frequency records and a one-time review-request record in app-local storage. These records support continuing a puzzle, reviewing mistakes, selecting stages and avoiding duplicate ad or review requests. The developer does not operate a server that receives this learning history. App backup and device-transfer backup are disabled.

2. Advertising and consent

The app integrates Google's Mobile Ads SDK and User Messaging Platform (UMP). These services request banner and interstitial ads and manage privacy choices where required. A banner may appear in a separate space outside the chessboard and game controls. The first five numbered practice stages in each course have no interstitials. Later practice stages share a counter and can offer one interstitial after every five eligible completed attempts, when you choose Next from a completed puzzle. For a new player solving stages in order, the first opportunity is after stage 10. Existing installations start the new five-completion cycle without catching up on older ad opportunities. Reading solutions, skipping stages, daily/review modes or navigating settings does not count as completion. Interstitial opportunities around the review-request milestone are skipped. An unavailable ad must not prevent play.

Google's advertising SDK may process network addresses and approximate location inferred from them, advertising/app-set identifiers and other applicable device/account identifiers, app and ad interactions (such as app launches and taps), crash reports, and other performance or diagnostic information. Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads, analyze service performance and combat misuse. Google's SDK sends collected information using encrypted connections. The app does not ask for access to contacts, photographs, microphone, camera or precise device location.

Consent choices and whether ads can be requested are handled through UMP. A privacy-options entry is available in app settings when Google's consent platform requires it. The app requests non-personalized ads with Google's teen protections and a General (G) ad-content limit for all users, including adults. It does not collect your age or date of birth. These advertising settings do not replace applicable consent and privacy-choice requirements. Testing builds use Google's demonstration advertising identifiers.

3. Other services and links

The app uses Google Play's official in-app review API to request an optional rating after a positive milestone, on a new practice completion once around eight different puzzles have been solved. Google Play decides whether to display its review interface. The app records only that a request was attempted and nearby ad-suppression events; it does not receive your selected stars, review text or confirmation that you submitted a review. Rating is never required or rewarded, and a review-service failure does not prevent play.

Google's practices are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Google's advertising SDK data disclosure is at https://developers.google.com/admob/android/next-gen/privacy/play-data-disclosure. Opening an external link uses your browser and that site's privacy practices. The app has no separate analytics, social login or developer-operated cloud account service. Puzzle content is supplied offline from the Lichess CC0 database; ordinary puzzle play does not send your answers to Lichess.

4. Your choices and retention

You can reset learning progress inside the app. Clearing the app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling removes its remaining local records, including settings. Android provides controls to reset or delete your advertising ID. You can change available advertising consent choices through the app's privacy options. Google's retention of information processed by its services follows Google's policies; resetting local game progress does not delete Google's records.

5. Contact and changes

If you have a question about this app's privacy practices, contact auction@mekorean.com. If you email us, we use the information you provide to respond. This policy may change when the app's features or service providers change. The effective date identifies the current policy.
