Local story data

The app stores selected story decisions on your device to resume reading and calculate story outcomes. Brainer operates no account or story-data server for this app and does not send those decisions through app-authored analytics. Restarting the story clears its local progress; clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local app data. Android automatic app backup is disabled.

Advertising and service providers

The app integrates Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Depending on consent and applicable settings, Google's advertising SDK processes network/IP information, device or advertising identifiers, app/ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. IP information may infer general location. SDK communications use encryption in transit. This is separate from locally saved story history.

Privacy choices

UMP updates applicable consent requirements and stores privacy choices. Where required, the app displays Google's consent form and provides privacy options through its optional advertising/privacy information screen. Advertising cannot be requested unless UMP permits it. If an ad or consent request fails, you can continue reading. Device advertising-identifier controls are also available in Android settings.

Other data and retention

The app does not create user accounts, request contacts, photos or precise-location access, or include a separate Firebase Analytics SDK. AdMob itself performs the SDK processing described above. Google controls the data it receives and its applicable retention and deletion procedures; uninstalling this app removes local storage but does not itself submit a provider-side deletion request.
